Sonnet Face of the World 2009 Model Competition

Welcome to the Sonnet Face of the World 2009 Model Competition. Aspiring models from around the world now have the opportunity to participate in one of the largest modelling competitions ever launched. Utilizing Sonnet Models' award-winning technology, the competition will run on the world's top social networks - starting with Facebook.

Open to Everyone

Anyone can join the competition by uploading a photo to the Sonnet Models Facebook application - all you need is a Facebook account. What's more, anyone can vote - you don't even need to be on Facebook!

Finalists

We have partnered with top global and regional agencies who will act as judges for the competition. Finalists will be selected from around the world - some will be contacted for interview or signed up as new faces. Once our partners feel that enough talent has been discovered, two overall winners - one male and one female - will be selected from the finalists.

Winners

The winners will be awarded a fashion photo shoot with Peter Gurnz, a top photographer from Boxeight Studios in Los Angeles. His work has been featured in several publications including Germany GQ, Flaunt and Elle magazines. Boxeight Studios is an established artist/media/production facility based in Downtown Los Angeles and is also the organizer of Boxeight LA Fashion Week, known in the fashion industry for showcasing the work of independent fashion designers on-the-rise.
